Ways to Prevent Insomnia

So, I bet everyone of us have experienced insomnia at least once, right? For those who never know what the hell insomnia was ( for real? ), insomnia happens when you have trouble in sleeping. Like, jet lag? Got the idea?

Okay.

So, as I grown up, I always faced this problem. Yes, I always need some time before really going to bed. Frankly saying, it will take at least an hour for me to sleep and it can extend to three hours sometimes. Somehow, as one who works, this is a big trouble for me. I need to go bed early and wake up early to get ready for work. Just imagine what will happen if I do not get enough sleep? Yes, I will be so damn tired and moody for the whole day.

Bad huh?

So here, I have come out with a thought to share my ways to overcome my insomnia. My insomnia, not yours. So, the risk of these methods to not work on you is still there. Okay?

1. Avoid eating too much for dinner.
Usually, I will have my dinner by 7p.m. sharp ( I encountered minor gastric so having meal on time is really important for me ). For dinner, I will only take about 1 senduk ( sorry I forgot the name when I wrote this ) of rice instead of two like I did during lunch. I eat a lot so yeah.

2. Avoid exercising.
People said exercising will make you feel energetic, so why did you want to become so energetic to go to sleep? Exercising will increase your metabolism so it is not a good idea to make a lompat bintang before going to sleep or you will be wide awake and need to purchase internet burung hantu to utilise your night. Such a waste.

3. Put away your gadgets.
Sometimes I do not. I will scroll over Twitter, Instagram and Wattpad first before sleeping. And this is actually a bad idea. When you played with your phone too much, your brain will stay awake and you will need time to sleep again. So, if you are having insomnia, put your phone under your bed.

4. Listen to soothing songs.
Sometimes it will help. Ballad songs are the most suitable songs to listen to. Do not ever try to listen to the upbeat songs like Panama or what. Instead of sleeping, I am worried you will be having a disco in your own room. No one want you to dance on your bed.

5. Stop imagining things
I used to imagine there were ghosts in my room. Under the bed, on the ceiling, inside te wardrobe and even inside the mirror. And having these kind of imagination make me refuse to sleep. So, nowadays, I always try my best to husnudzon and go to bed in ease. Stop imagining things and yes do not watch horror movies before you go to bed.

So, that is how I overcome my insomnia. How about you? What have you done to overcome your insomnia? Share me your thoughts in the comment section.

Thanks for reading!

(Song Review) - Day6 I Wait

Sorry for not updating for a very long time. Yes, I got no mood and also no idea to do so. But abandoning my blog for a very long time is not a good idea. So today, I would like to make a review post of a group I stanning.

Day6.

Day6 is actually a band under JYP Entertainment, one of the biggest company in South Korea. Yes, they were Kpop singer. Sorry for those who were antis, you may need to not read this post. But for those who know and want to know more, I will let you keep scrolling in ease.

( from left to right ) Wonpil, Young K, Sungjin, Dowoon, Jae

Okay, so I Wait was one of their EveryDay6 project in 2017, which means last year. They have total 25 songs released last year and I Wait was their January project. It was also considered as their starter song. Before, Day6 had already produced a few songs like Congratulation ( their debut song ) and Letting Go.

Lyrics
The members participated in writing the lyrics. I need to say both of them were really talented because yes, the songs they worked on were amazing. For I Wait, it was more to a melancholic song but you would not know if you do not search for it. You can search for the lyrics online for more.

Music
I am not a professional about music genre or what. But what could I say is, I Wait is for those who love upbeat songs a lot. You can hear the instruments clearly especially on the last part. It was so good to be honest. The drum, the guitars and even the piano.

MV
Honestly, I do not really like the MV as much I like the other ones. But I like how the MV suit the song as much. Like, who would do a blink-ish MV for a melancholic song, aight? There were some, but meh. And I loved how Wonpil looked good in the MV. Thank you stylist-nim

Members
Oh, I have mentioned Wonpil above right? Never mind. Too lazy to delete it. So, basically the members were all looked good in the MV but as I said, Wonpil looked the best. The boys looked sexy with dark concept like this and shout out to Young K because he looked the sexiest with his bandana ( or headband? ) Leave it.

In conclusion, I Wait is a song to listen especially for those who love to bang their heads with the music. I will leave you with the MV and pour out your thought in the comment section.

Rating : 4/5

My Five Days of Working

Actually, I planned to make an entry about my first day of working. But life was so hectic since the past five days and I only got my leave today, so I will just compile everything in a post. Maybe it will be just as long as it could be or maybe just nice and short because yes my fingers were aching.

So ;

1. When my kiosk supposed to have three workers and all of us only have eight hours of shifts but then one of us did not want to continue and decided to not saying a word to our boss, we have twelve hours of shifts now and it was so damn tiring. 10.30a.m. to 10.30p.m. on weekdays and 10.00a.m. to 11.00p.m. on weekends. What say you?

2. Our first day went well even though it was a grand opening day. We were a bit clumsy here and there but we managed to settle everything by time. Alhamdulillah.

3. I do not really remember when was it ( thanks to my short-term memory ) but there was a customer who insisted our 'pending' juice ( it was called so because my boss want to customize the recipe ). We were damn afraid it will turned out really bad but thank God it was not. Instead, the customer praised us for it.

4. I accidentally cut my left ring finger with the long knife. I am not sure what was the name but it was long and we use it to cut watermelons. Damn, it was so hurt that I almost cry. And it still do not recover till today. I think I cut it deep.

5. I cut my index finger of the same hand on my third day. This time it was not as deep as before but the bleeding was too much that I got panicked like hell. Even the customer help me to wipe my blood. Embarrassing of course.

6. Our MarryBrown customer ( a worker, he is an Indian ) spat out the funniest comment ever when he said our juice tasted like petai. I was like, which part of petai he was talking about? We only have apple + kiwi + guava in that juice he ordered. So, where did the petai come from? I do not know why he said something like that but it was hilarious ( and made the three of us including my boss a bit sensitive about our juices afterwards )

7. Yesterday's business was a bit slow since it was Monday so my friend and I decided to just rest ahead. However, there was a spouse who came and nagged us about being lazy and not even trying to promote our juices and accused us of sleeping while working. We were a bit off for the comment of course but still continue to make their juice. To add insult to injury, our fridge encountered a problem where the temperature dropped too much and froze almost everything including our juices. So, it took us some time to prepare their juice. And know what, they spat us with something like 'cepatlah sikit buat jus pun terhegeh-hegeh.' Yes, we were moody the whole day and my friend almost cried but thanks to our boss that he gave us tonnes of advice to cheer us up again.

8. Honestly, I think my friend and I was like a mirror reflection. Too shy, a bit slow, clumsy and more. We were just exactly represent each other. So, we shared so many things together ( even lunch ) for the past few days even though it was our first time of sitting together in the kiosk. I hope she was doing well all alone today. Aha.

9. My boss was so nice, I have mentioned it before. He was just so nice that when we were too busy, he willingly help us without complaining. When we were down, he will cheer us up with his advice. And even treat us lunch. Not to include when we messed up but he do not even flinch at it. I wonder f he ever got mad before. It was a pure bliss totally. I always hope I will meet a boss like this before and I do not think I will complain anymore. And he was damn funny too that we constantly took chances to prank him.

10. There was a yogurt kiosk beside our kiosk. We were totally fine with the workers except for that one Chinese man. I do not really sure but maybe he was around his twenties. He would constantly look at both of us with a smug look? I do not know how to describe it but it was so uncomfortable to even take a deep breath, yes.

Overall, working was hectic but it was thrilling. I slowly started to love my job. My hands smells like fruits nowadays. I do not think I need to bath now. Aha joking. I really hope we would make more. After all, what else did you want other than a nice boss, a nice friend, a nice place of work with constant smell of chicken porridge from MarryBrown and nice experiences? Nothing else.

Thanks for reading.

It Was My First Post After All

So, if you are reading this, that means you are reading my first post on my blog. To be honest, I will spat randomly in this post because I never plan this before. By this I mean I want to start posting tomorrow ( 1st February to be exact ) but then knowing that I might not have much time, I decided to start a day earlier. So, let us say this is my blog born date, 31st January 2018.

Let us meet up in a year. I hope I can keep on writing by the time.

And yes, when I say I do not have much time, I mean it. I will start working tomorrow. Yes, after somehow two months of job hunting here and there, I finally made it! You know the pain of filling tonnes of forms in a supermarket or mall just to wait them to call you back? That was totally painful because all you got was another fakehope.

So, I will start working in a kiosk at Amanjaya Mall Sungai Petani tomorrow. A juice kiosk with the name Juice Moment to be exact. It is a new kiosk which means I will be super busy with the grand opening tomorrow. That is why I thought of started writing today. I hope everything will work well. This is my first time working after 18 years of staying at home. So, I hope I will not mess up. I do not know what will happen if I do.

I only work for eight hours per day but in two different shifts and I personally think this gonna be hectic but I cannot complain because this is my job. My first shift started from 10.30a.m. to 2.30p.m. but I need to reach at the kiosk like an hour earlier. Meanwhile my second shift will begin at 6.30p.m. to 10.30p.m. Yes. I need to open and close the kiosk every single day ( except for Tuesday because I am on leave! )

The 4 hours in between should be my recess time ( cannot leave high school term ) which is more than enough for anyone else but me. My house is like 25 minutes journey from the  mall and for someone who does not know how to ride a bike or car, this is such a troublesome. Poor my abah who need to pick me up by 2.30p.m. and send  me back by 6.30p.m. And yes,who would spend 4 hours at a mall alone? I do not. Well, maybe yes if I got some money to be spend.

I cannot complain and even if I can, I would not because my boss ( he is a Chinese ) was really nice to all of us. So, complaining would not help to ease him who spent almost RM10 000 only for the kiosk. Frankly saying I was a bit insecure about the kiosk ( obviously the untung rugi balik modal thingy ) Let us just pray for me, my workmates and my boss. Ahaks.

Okay, what else should I write then?

Oh I hate myself right now.

So, maybe tomorrow I will try to sneak between time to write about my first time working. I hope my first experience will be a memorable one.

And yes, this is my first time writing after quite a long time of stopping for SPM. And my English sucks. Sorry not sorry. Feel free to correct my mistakes. I miss writing so much actually.

Thanks for spending your time here.
